Spring is coming!  Water temps are fast approaching 50 as of 03/10/13.  It's almost time for some of the best fishing of the year for all species.  

The bite has remained good throughout this month.  Typically February is a very tough month on Carters but thus far that hasn't been the case.  We're still holding in the high 40's water temps and haven't yet hit the mid-low 40's so that's been a big help.  I'm catching fish on a variety of baits,

I've taken a week off of North Georgia's finest Spotted Bass Factory to re-charge the batteries. Wasn't a planned week off but it worked out that way and with all this crazy weather I couldn't blame anyone for not wanting to get out in the rain and 20mph wind. 

Fishing continues to be great at North Georgia's finest fishery.  We're catching good numbers of fish on Spotsticker Jigs and Jighead worm combo's, drop shots, Davis Underspins, and Float N Fly/Red Rooster jigs in both Carters Special and Grey Shad.  Check out some photo's

Hope everyone had a great Christmas holiday, I know my family and I did.  The bite has been good.  A variety of patterns are working right now both deep and shallow.  I've had some great trips over the past 2 weeks and look forward to 2013 and hopefully meeting many new clients!  Here's a quick rundown on patterns and a few pics
