Fishing Report Mid-July

Summer is finally here. I read that today (07/19) was only our 4th day over 90 degree's of the Summer, thankfully it was the 2nd day in a row of mostly Sunny 90+ weather. This has helped the bite tremendously. The last 2 days are the best days I've seen since mid June, and the bite hasn't been bad this month, it's great now. Hopefully there's more of this weather to come. I feel that August will be our best month of the Summer!!! Check out these magnum Spotted Bass from this weeks trips.

What a great time to be on the water. The weather is warming, or at least it's trying, and the fish are moving deep and schooling up more by the day. I love Summer time.

First off, HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all you dad's out there!!! Summer weather is finally here and with the heat comes large schools of fish, mixed bags are a daily thing throughout Summer. Lots of Spots and the occasional Hybrid, Striper, and Walleye. Great week of fishing. Check out some of these magnum Spots, Hybrid, Walleye, and Stripers from the last few days.

What a welcome site, HEAT!!! Come on heat, come on 90+ degrees!!! With Summer fast approaching the fish have started to group up and have started to move deeper.

The water temps are still below 60 as of 4.12.13 but the bite is very strong both day and night. I've been a night owl lately and only fished one day trip over the past 6 and have many more nights to go. Check out these huge Carters Lake Stripers and Spots!!!
