About Specialty Instructional Trips I offer:

What Kinds of Instructional Trips Are There?

I will focus on whatever you feel like is your weakness: reading/interpreting sonar or side imaging technology, sonar sight fishing w/ finesse techniques such as Drop Shots, Jigging Spoons, Float N Fly, Fish Head Spins, or even ledge fishing on the TN River, etc, etc...

Typically, most of my instructional trips are sonar/side imaging related trips. By far, most fishermen want to know more about how to setup, use, and interpret sonar/side imaging to help them catch fish.  People tend to be very intimidated by sonar, but fortunately, it really isn't that complex---you just need someone to explain it to you.

I am one of just a few guides in Georgia supported by Humminbird on their guide program and run their gear on my boats now, but I know Lowrance equally as well---I'm good for either.

I ALSO OFFER SONAR/SI SETUP TRIPS IN YOUR BOAT FOR AS LOW AS $175.

HAVE YOU RECENTLY PURCHASED AN EXPENSIVE SONAR OR SIDE IMAGING UNIT?  WOULD YOU LIKE TO CUT YOUR LEARNING CURVE IN HALF IN JUST A COUPLE OF HOURS SO YOU CAN START GETTING YOUR MONEYS WORTH OUT OF YOUR NEW UNIT???  GIVE ME A CALL AND I'LL MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND HOW TO EFFICIENTLY USE YOUR UNIT IN NO TIME.  GAS PRICES ARE TO HIGH TO WASTE TIME.  I HAVE SPENT THOUSANDS OF ON WATER HOURS USING SIDE IMAGING AND SONAR SIGHT FISHING, I HAVE ALL THE TRIAL AND ERROR OUT OF THE WAY.  GIVE ME A CALL TODAY.

My Boat, or Yours

I do a lot of trips out of other people's boat, especially sonar trips because the gear is mounted to thier boat. We can certainly take your boat if you'd rather---not a problem at all.

For more on my boats, please click here.

Cost

Currently, the cost for catching bluegill, chasing striper, or learning sonar is all the same. I don't charge any more for instructional trips. My time is my time, and my fee schedule is outlined here.

Go Each Season

Although you will learn a lot from one instructional trip, there is a lot of material to cover, and as for fishing patterns, it changes from month to month. If you are a an avid fisherman, I reccomend that you book a trip at least once a quarter. I'll show you what the fish are doing, and give my advice for how to best target them. Over time, you WILL get better, and you WILL catch fish. I promise.
