Fishing Report Mid-July
Summer is finally here. I read that today (07/19) was only our 4th day over 90 degree's of the Summer, thankfully it was the 2nd day in a row of mostly Sunny 90+ weather. This has helped the bite tremendously. The last 2 days are the best days I've seen since mid June, and the bite hasn't been bad this month, it's great now. Hopefully there's more of this weather to come. I feel that August will be our best month of the Summer!!! Check out these magnum Spotted Bass from this weeks trips.

Kids like 10yr old Ethan (below) are having a blast catching big numbers of mean, green, fighting machines like this 4lb Spot Ethan caught while on his trip with his grandfather this week. 6-8lb test, light action St Croix Rods, and deep water make for awesome fun in the summer!!!

Below is a pic from an afternoon trip I ran this week. Another great option for a 4-5 hour trip is afternoon/evenings. The fish bite just as good and sometimes better.
